Welcome
April Woods Stable, is a private horse boarding and
training facility. Family owned and operated since 1995, the farm is
located on 50 acres, 2 miles from downtown Dover, NH and 7 miles from UNH.
Whether your interest is pleasure riding or showing, english or western,
just starting, experienced or getting back in the saddle, April Woods
Stable offers a quiet facility to enjoy your
equine pursuits.
Show Season is here- Let us know if you are interested in going to the shows this year. Cheering, grooming and participating are available for those interested.
Clinic Series-
Your horse or ours. Customized for all levels and ages.
Gymnastics-
Work on balance and seat through series of grids, jumps (if ready for
jumping) and exercises. Whether you are interested in jumping or
improving your seat, gymnastics using series of grids on the ground or
with combination of jumps can improve your seat and balance.
Trail Class Clinic- Work on obstacles you would find in a trail class
at an open show. Work on exercises to achieve optimum points for trail
class or just have fun working on different patterns and obstacles.
Intro to Dressage- Introduction to the world of dressage. Learn about
a dressage test, collective marks and how to ride a good test. Call for more information.
