Boarding, Training & Sales
At April Woods Stable, we provide the highest level of care for the horses at our facility and our clients. Our farm is located on 50 acres of fields and woods in the city of Dover. With a 800' dirt road from the street, we are well of the beaten track. When you enter our farm, it is a haven of peace and tranquility. When horses are at our farm they are relaxed and happy. Every horse is treated like our own and their care and health our priority.
The facility was built with the attention to the comfort and well being of the horse. Whether your discipline is the fine art of dressage, saddleseat, western pleasure, jumping, trail riding or pleasure riding, our facility can accommodate your needs.
April Woods Stable, we have a limited number of stalls available for boarding/training. We offer all day turnout in individual paddocks. We blanket and fly spray accordingly. All our stalls have rubber mats and drainage for cleaning. The stable has high ceilings and proper ventilation for the health of the horses in our care. Boarders have access to the indoor arena, outdoor area, beautiful maintained trails, wash stall with hot and cold water year round. Please email us for more information.
Our training combines many years of experience with various types of horses and riding techniques. We focus on the horses strengths and develop them accordingly. We have produced many quality horses that compete in dressage, combined training, open showing, and pleasure riding.
For Sale: no sale horses at this time, but we have several horses for half lease, call for details.

Nice prospect for teenage pony clubber, 4h or any rider looking to get noticed with color and talent. Excellent ground manors, no vices. Very sweet disposition, no attitude. Nice mover with smooth gaits, started over fences, willing attitude and she likes to work. Healthy and barefoot. First Dressage schooling show she placed 2nd out of 6!!
